Streamray Incorporated is the owner and operator of adult cam sites: GaloreCams, GlassCams, Cams.com, playwithme, and several others.
Streamray’s parent company is Friend Finder Networks. FFN operates adult entertainment, online dating, and social networking services.
Is Streamray legitimate?
Yes, this is a legitmate company. It is very unlikley that StreamRay scammed anybody. The parent company has been hacked in the past, more on that in the linked article below.
Why is Streamray.Help on my credit card?
Most Likely: You Knowing signed up for one of their services.
For puroses of privacy and discretion, they do not put the name of the website or service on the charge. STREAMRAY.HELP 4087021044 or something very similar is how it will appear on your card. It’s common not to recognize such a charge, and of course you should always investigate something you do not recognize. If this is your situation, I will discuss what you should do now, in a moment.
Possible: A Get Verified Scam
The Get Verified Scam, is when you meet someone online, and they want you to verify yourself before they meet you. They send you to a link, that advertises as free, but thru technology they hide or make charges difficult to find. It is a big topic, and too much to get into in this article. You can read more about it here.
In depth The Get Verified Scam
To my knowledge, I have never seen a Streamray site in one of these scams. The reason I think this is a possibility, is from reading the BBB Complaints.
StreamRay Better Business Bureau Complaints
There are four complaints at the BBB website. Here are quotes from each of them:
I never authorized a charge for this company. I’ve never heard of it.
…never even visited or put my card info on this site.
I appears that they hacked my checking account…
I have never authorized a transaction to your company.
In my estimation, none of the above happened. Rather the individuals were tricked in to signing up via the the Get Verified Scam, or something very similar. These are the exact same things people say when they have been victims of the Get Verifed Scam. I get emails saying the exact same thing all the time. You can read the detail complaints here.
Somewhat Possible: Someone stole your credit card
Identity Theft and Credit card theft happens every day. In 2019, there were 1,473 data breaches. 164 Million records exposed, and victims out of pocket expenses were $1.7 BILLION.

What to do about a charge from Streamray
Do you remember now?
If you now recognize the charge great. I am glad I was able to help. I still think it is a good move to get the Identity Theft protection.
If you were Scammed
You need to do several things.
The law in the United States requires that for any dispute on a charge, you need to make a good-faith effort to work out the issue with the merchant. In this case you can call Streamray. You might need to give them the last 4 digits of your credit card. Thats OK, because you will be canceling your credit card and getting a new one.
